Designed for music: St. Michael’s acoustic

Vocalists and instrumentalists all enjoy the extraordinary acoustic at St. Michael’s, its beautiful interior and striking setting on Mount Dinham. We are especially proud to showcase the virtuosity and skill of young artists from the South West, across the UK and Europe. In this past year, former and current members of Genesis SixteenBenjamin Irvine-Capel, Joseph Ward and Matt Jeffrey, have performed and conducted at St Michael’s.

The Music Recital Series was founded in 2013 by Prof. Matthew Wright; classicist, pianist and organist. Renowned vocal ensemble VOCES8 opened the series in 2013, with an inspirational workshop and evening recital.
