Vocations 18-30 Gathering

Hosted by: Rev Hannah Alderson, Vocations Development Officer

Another informal meeting at The Imperial, New North Road, Exeter, EX4 4AH, at 7.30pm on Thursday 22nd February.

For anyone aged 18-30 who may be wondering if God could be calling them to explore Ordained Ministry in the Church of England.  Evangelicals, Radicals, Anglo-Catholics or no label – all welcome; even gays and disabled, in the hope that the Church will get over some of its prejudices soon.

Despite our problems – over-large, over-confident London brands, struggling Parishes, and Cathedrals full of the worn-out and the anonymous – the Church needs shepherds who can love, lead and enable their flocks and seek the lost. And the Church is keen to train younger people again for these Callings.

I’ve been ‘tongue-in-cheek’, but the Diocese is keen for younger people to think about options for training to become the Ministers & Priests of the future.

If you or someone you know is affected by this issue, please consider using this event to find out more, or contact Rev Hannah Alderson, St Luke’s Chaplain and Vocations Development Officer.
