Wednesday 22nd February at 7.30pm. St Michael’s Lectures welcome Penelope Cowell Doe to talk on “Inn or Cottage? What are the Sexuality Wars really about?”   She will be drawing on her research at Exeter University on the Pilling Report to illuminate some of the much deeper cultural and theological issues underlying the recent battles over sexuality in the church. The topic is particularly relevant in the light of the recent Bishops’ Report on Sexuality & Marriage, and the General Synod Meeting.
