St Michael’s offers you a very warm welcome! We hope to inspire a sense of community and friendship, as we seek to know God’s presence in the world through worship and music, community activity and events, celebration and learning. Aside from our services and events, the church is used each week by a range of groups, with details on our Bookings & Hire page.
• Booking the church ~ The church of St Michael’s is a unique venue for weddings and events, especially acoustic music, lectures and talks. It is also a growing resource for the local community. Please visit our Bookings & Hire page to find out more or to request a booking.
• Clergy ~ The Revd. Mike Clark is the Interim Minister for the Benefice, within which St Michael & All Angels Mount Dinham church sits. A team of clergy supports services at St. Michael’s, and includes the Ven. David Gunn Johnson, Fr Steven Martin, Canon James Mustard, Fr Scott Angel, Fr Dominic Cyrus, the Revd. Hannah Alderson, the Revd. Sarah Cumming, the Revd. Sue Astbury and the Revd. Ash Leighton-Plom.
• The PCC of the Conventional District Church of St Michael and All Angels Mount Dinham was formed on 25th September 2024 and meets monthly. Antonio Manzelli is the Lay Chair of the PCC and Deanery Synod representative.

• Ecumenicism ~ St. Michael’s warmly welcomes those from other churches in communion with the Church of England and other Christian denominations to worship here.
• A place of training and development ~ St Michael’s has inspired many to develop their creativity, love of liturgy and musical gifts in the context of an Anglo-Catholic church and venue for music performance. It has been a foundational place for many on their early career path in music or in the ministry, in teaching, architecture and design. Our vision is to offer a range of experiential opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Equality, diversity and inclusion ~ St. Michael’s is an inclusive church which seeks to celebrate and affirm every person. A special service is offered each year to celebrate and pray for inclusion and equality in association with Pride Exeter in the city. Practical access provision includes wheelchair access via the great west doors, good lighting, large print books, and a hearing loop. The PCC’s Buildings group are reviewing plans for a new disabled access toilet in 2025.
