Our Community

Over the years, St Michael’s Mount Dinham has drawn to itself a diverse group of people with a generous spirit ~ it holds an atmosphere which is festive, reverential and heart warming. At its core, the faithful preservation of Anglo-Catholic liturgy, music and ritual provide the framework for services, events and celebrations throughout the year.

Join us at one of our  services or events! ~ you will find a warm welcome, a community spirit and the love of God for everyone, whether your connection is new or long standing. Through a common heartfelt association with this place we enjoy a shared experience of hospitality with our congregation and choir, audience members, international communities, visiting clergy, artists, stewards, vergers and all visitors.

The Diaspora ~ throughout the year, special Feast days and events draw together members of the wider communities of St Michael’s; the Diaspora. The Church’s new own parish boundary extends to much of the area of Mount Dinham, in an historic step taken this year in 2026. However, many more people experience St Michael’s Mount Dinham as home to a network of communities which extend across the City of Exeter and the South West region to across the United Kingdom and also internationally.

Neighbours and partners ~ St. Michael’s is fortunate to enjoy key partnerships and associations in the locality. See our neighbours page for more information about local organisations in partnership with us.

Keeping in touch online ~ Our community and diaspora includes those who join us in person on Mount Dinham, as well as much further afield. Find our Official page on facebook here, our Friends facebook page here and our Instagram profile here.
