Dear Ingrid, Yes, I can confirm that we were able to weigh and measure the chicks at 3 weeks, confirming 2 females and 1 male, all a little lighter than last year's clutch, but lively and healthy. Their coloured leg-rings are HC for the male and HB & HD for the females. A further 3 weeks on, they have gone through the untidy stages of feather growth, shedding down and being fed all sorts of prey by both adults, and today's news is that HeCtor, the young male, has fledged and flown, and returned to the church tower. The young females have been flapping their wings on the edge of the trefoil opening, but not yet left the nest box. Best wishes, and good viewing on the website live camera for a little longer, Richard.
