Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament
Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament
Founded in 1862, the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament is one of the oldest of the Catholic Societies of the Church of England and serves a body of men and women who dedicate time to adoration and veneration of the Blessed Sacrament, be that in the Mass or through Eucharistic devotions such as Benediction.
At St Michael's, Father John Hughes is the Superior of the Ward of St. Clement. The ward meets every month to pray and worship together and to offer the Mass or celebrate the Office with Benediction.
